Gucci was founded in Florence, Italy, in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, who had spent years watching wealthy travelers move through London’s Savoy Hotel with beautifully made luggage. He came home determined to build that same quality in Italy, opening a small leather goods shop that grew into one of the world’s most recognized luxury houses. The interlocking GG monogram, the red-green-red web stripe, and the horsebit hardware, all rooted in the house’s equestrian heritage, became signatures that still show up in Gucci eyewear today.

Gucci eyewear is designed and produced by Kering Eyewear, built on the same Italian craftsmanship as the house’s ready-to-wear and leather goods. Frames are cut from thick, sculptural acetate in bold cat-eye and rectangular silhouettes, finished with dimensional cut-out logos, crystal detailing, and metal hardware set against contrasting color plaques. Every pair is made to be noticed up close as much as from across a room.

It might take a while and some help from their (very knowledge about frames and how to help find your fit) staff, but you WILL find your frames in their extensive collection! The vintage frames room is my favorite!!!

Dr. Krysiak is also fantastic. He will tell you exactly what he is doing while he does it and it's a great distraction from the 'scarier' parts of an eye exam, and will tell you all kinds of cool stuff about your eyes :)

The service and professionalism was perfect, the doctor was informative and nice!
