Orgreen was founded in Copenhagen in 1997 by Henrik Ørgreen, Tobias Wandrup, and Gregers Fastrup, launching first as a sunglass label before adding prescription eyewear a few years later. From the start, the brand built its identity around a distinctly Danish sensibility: clean lines, a quiet confidence, and color used as a real design signature rather than a seasonal trend.

Every Orgreen frame is precision-manufactured in Japan from sheet titanium or acetate, built as what the brand calls a study in balance between weight, flexibility, and finish. An in-house colorist leads the palette for each collection, pairing considered hues instead of chasing trends. Bestselling shapes return season after season in new colorways and material finishes, so a familiar silhouette never looks quite the same twice.

The service and professionalism was perfect, the doctor was informative and nice!
